Mark Hackett, our Interim Chief Executive, shares good news on progress being made to improve
Emergency Care in this video.
Since his arrival at the Trust, Mark has been working with colleagues to roll out evidence-based approaches to improve urgent and emergency care. As a result, we have started to see improvements in our 4 hour waits and a reduction to ambulance handover delays.
In the video Mark explains the ‘One Plan’ and details some of the improvements we have rolled out in the past few months, and what we are working on over the summer to continue to make things better for patients needing Emergency care. This includes new ambulance handover bays and 10 new pathways to get people seen more quickly, in the right place at the right time.
