I have been an intern on the Project SEARCH supported internship since September 2023.

In this time, I have gained work experience in the Level 7 restaurant, working as a Kitchen Assistant, and have just finished a placement in the Radiology Department, helping file X-ray images which will be used to help train the Junior Doctors.

I have really enjoyed my last two internships because I felt that my mentors were kind and friendly. They helped me show how to fit into the hospital and to do the jobs.

I am just about to get ready to start my third internship as a Receptionist. This will be working with the Research and Development team. I am really looking forward to this new challenge.

I have also been completing a Level 1 Certificate in Employability and hope to be sitting my Level 1 and 2 Maths and English Functional Skills exams before the end of the course.

I hope to find a paid job eventually and I like the idea of working as a Catering Assistant, because I have previous experience and qualification in this.
